Mei's day had been positively dreadful. Alright, maybe 'dreadful' was an overstatement. But, it still hadn't been a good day. It had been dreadfully hot (and she had worn heavy layers, of course), she had ended up getting lost before finally finding her residence, and some crass man had had the gall to ask her to go home with him...more than once! No, it had not been good at all.
But that was past, and now she could soak her troubles away in the hot springs.
She stepped quietly out of the bathhouse, towel clenched tightly around her figure. As her footsteps made soft sounds on the ground, her brown eyes checked the springs for anyone. No other people seemed to be there, which relieved her. She was fully aware that it was a communal spring, but the thought of being...exposed around others was almost disturbing to the Taiwanese girl.
Then why did you even come here...? A voice in her head asked.
She shook her head, stepping to a large spring. She gently stuck her toes to test the temperature. She sighed and unwrapped the towel, before climbing slowly in. She sighed again, relieved, as the hot water began to soothe her. It felt so nice....
[At the moment, Mei is in the both-sexes-welcome spring, but she's not aware, so anyone can come annoy her. XD

That was definitely going to hurt for awhile, Diran mused, thoughtfully poking at his most recent bruise. Leave it to him to inadvertantly start a row in the marketplace, when he'd only been looking to purchase a few tomatoes. How was he supposed to know that the stall-manager would so readily accuse him of stealing? He was going to pay for them, but he had put them in his satchel first, for safekeeping, while he had been looking for his money.
"Some people," he muttered, depositing his satchel and most of his clothes in a safe location. The hot springs were what he needed right now- somewhere to relieve the tension in his shoulders and hands.
He was thankful for the fact that the bathhouse was empty at this hour, as his scars were visible without his vest, and he hated people to see them. They made him look weak, clumsy. They made people pity him. Diran Parisyan needed pity from nobody. So, with a towel wrapped around his waist, the olive-skinned young man proceeded into the springs, stepping right in and sitting down (removing his towel first, of course) without even testing the hot water.
Sighing contentedly as the warmth flooded him, he did not even realize that there was a girl there as well, for his eyes were shut. When he felt that he was beginning to fall asleep, he let them flutter back open. Immediately he gave out a scream- er, a high-pitched but masculine shout, that is.
"Օ՜ Աստված!" His voice rose up to a squealing pitch and his- still gloved- hands raced to cover as much of his body as he possibly could.
How mortifying... Diran's olive skin had taken on a rather tomato-like hue. "What are you doing here?" He called to the stranger, fighting against the urge to speak to her in his native tongue (it would do no good to shout at her in a language she may not understand.)
(Mind if I pop in? Translations: Օ՜ Աստված!/ O՜ Astvats!= Oh God!)

(Can I join?) ---
Milady Seraphine!
Those were the only words Seraphine heard when walking past her maids and companions in the mansion. She really didn't have anyone to really talk to. She has been secluded in her mansion lately and it was sort of lonely for her. She had been practicing on her Necromancy in her room lately and the magic was starting to get to her. Waking up during her late nights, the nightmares have been getting a little more worst. There was something in her practice recently that's been making her a little more tired.
A few hours ago, one of her maids in the mansion had found her weary and weak in her room and made her go out to have some fun. The entire day had been a mess for her. First, though she knew the place already, she had realized that some people had people had been following her as she walked through the plaza. And when she got to the corner, they had tried to attack her. And it took a fairly large amount of Dark Magic to wear them off. It had eaten a lot of energy out of her.
And now, she had passed by a bath house. A nice hot bath might be a good idea. No maids to prepare anything for her and she would be on her own for now. Entering to what seemed to be a woman's locker room, she carefully took off the layers of clothing that was clasped around her body. Feeling that it was finally off her, she felt herself a little more free. She wrapped a towel around her body and kept all of her clothing on the side. She took a basket with an extra set of towels and a robe and was about to enter the bath. She heard a high pitch squeal... presumably from a woman. She opened the door to the bath to see an old friend there.
"D-Diran...?" Serapine had asked upon realization.
In the bath was a he was, seemingly trying to cover most of what he can. Also there was an asian woman. Pretty cute to the matter of fact. Oh my! She had wandered to a Co-Ed bath. It wasn't that she didn't want to socialize a little more. It was that, it was going to be in a bath. Seraphine blinked a few times trying to figure out what was going on. Diran had asked what was she doing here. "This is a Co-Ed Bath... apparently..." Seraphine told him. Walking on the side lines to take a place of her own, of equal distance from one another, she decided to dip in with the towel on. She was just being cautious. Afterall, she was raised to be proper when in the same bath with a man. The water was a little too hot for her liking, but she would get used to it sooner of later.

Mei had already leaned back against the edge of spring, almost completely oblivious to anything else around. That was, until she heard a scream from somewhere else in the spring. Snapping out of her relaxed doze, her eyes quickly scanned the spring. Had someone been hurt...? Or, worse, had someone else gotten into the spring?
She had already been blushing (and moving to cover herself, of course), but as soon as she saw another figure in the spring (even through the steam, she could tell it was male), all color dropped from her face. She had accidentally stepped into the co-ed spring.
She muttered something in her native tongue, almost cursing herself before she heard more footsteps. The other figure seemed to be a woman (maybe she was the one who screamed, for the sound had been far too feminine to belong to the man in the spring). The woman calmly explained the situation to the man, whom she seemed to know.
The situation seemed much too awkward for woods, but Mei spoke anyway. "Hua..." She mumbled nervously, before her voice rose just a hair. "Erm, hello. I'm sorry about the situation you've ended up in..." she broke off. She really wished she could've said more, she was happy to talk to and meet new people, but this was hardly a good time for socialization. Besides, she was struggling to not speak Chinese, because the shock and embarrassment had gotten her wound up.

((Is it okay if I join too?))
Kiku, with his bathing towel wrapped firmly around his waist, calmly walked into the bathouse. It was merely a stroke of luck that he managed to come across some hot springs on his travels and he was glad that he had as the baths reminded him very much of home.
He inhaled the steam as he began to take his steps down into the water. He stood still for a few moments, allowing the deliciously warm water lap at his ankles before stepping down and submerging himself up to his chest.
It was heaven - especially after the day he had had. Back home, he had always made time to relax in a hot spring after a long or stressful day and the showers he had become used to taking were just not the same.
Kiku exhaled slowly and sunk against the wall of the bath. Absolute Bliss.

Diran continued to discreetly make squeaky noises as more people joined them in the springs. Seraphine- Օ՜ Աստված, how embarassing!- and now this Asian man. If any more blood rushed to his face he might have started hemorrhaging. His eyebrows ducked low on his head- oh no, Seraphine said his name aloud, now they knew who he was!- as the situation grew more awkward.
Sheepishly covering as much skin as he possibly, could, Diran attempted to scoot away from the women, and succeeded in bumping into Kiku, practically depositing himself on the other's lap. 'Why did I get naked?' He wondered bitterly. 'I should have known that if I got naked in a public place I'd end up in another man's naked lap. I should have expected it.'
Well, since he was already waist-deep in something uncomfortable he might as well try to enjoy himself. Clearing his throat he turned and extended a hand to the man whose lap he had nearly fallen into. The man had a stony, emotionless face, just like him- and hey, he was kind of cute- no, not right now, he shouldn't be thinking that at right this very moment! Scolding himself internally for being an idiot he grabbed Kiku's hand as though he had no perception of boundaries.
"I am terribly sorry, sir, for any embarrassment or inconvenience I'm about to cause you. Hopefully you've done something to deserve it."
His eyes darted over the Japanese man's entire visible body, scanning him over. Well yes, he was very cute, actually, but there was something about him... he looked a bit too straight for Diran's tastes. Wait, he suddenly thought. I have tastes in men now? The thought made him grip harder onto Kiku's hand without quite meaning to, as he tried to banish it to the back of his mind and focus on making conversation.
(Go right ahead, Kiku! Oh, and watch out for my- whoops, too late. Lap fixation.)

One moment Kiku had been enjoying the peace and quiet, gently inhaling the steam from the bath, the next there was a naked man sitting on his lap holding his hand.
It wasn't the strangest situation Kiku had ever been caught in but it was most certainly in the top three.
"I am terribly sorry, sir, for any embarrassment or inconvenience I'm about to cause you. Hopefully you've done something to deserve it."
Kiku could feel his face traitorously flushing red as it often did when he was truly embarrassed. Kiku opened his mouth to respond before letting out a very undignified sound (which could only be truly described as a squawk). Kiku lost his footing and slipped on the tiles - resulting in both him and the mystery man falling under the surface of the water.

Diran was about to grin broadly, seeing Kiku become flushed and flustered. God, he was adorable! Was that what he looked like when these sorts of things happened to him, he wondered? Because if that was the case, it was no wonder his Spaniard had participated so... vigorously in their little games. However, he was glad that he did not grin, as he found himself submerged in the water a moment later.
He flailed his arms a bit, startled. Water rushed around him, but he didn't think of letting go of Kiku's hand, still held firmly in his gloved fingers. Pulling himself up, he dragged the Asian with him, inadvertently pulling the Japanese man rather close to him. He smiled sheepishly, water dripping from his hair, and a late squeak slipped past his lips. The Armenian sat back down in his spot with a blush rising to his cheeks, crossing his legs and covering his scars.
"Terribly sorry. Didn't mean to drown you, little Asian man. I only meant to greet you in an amiable nature, finding myself desposited in your lap as I was." Diran brushed his hair out of his eyes, finding that it still poked up in the back, undeterred by the water.

Kiku was beyond bewildered. Little Asian Man? This strange young man had not only insulted him but phrased said insult in such a manner that it came off as a familial greeting!
Pulling his hand out of the other mans Kiku could feel blood flowing to his cheek again. "Who-who are you . . . to i-insult me and then-!" he gestured wildly.
