Vash had fallen asleep that night on his couch which made him realize that it wasn't as comfortable as he had expected. But he had already bought this couch and he couldn't do anything about it. He didn't want to part away from his beloved money now. His inheritance he received from his 'missing' family and from his dead mentor. No, it was too precious for him. Aside from the fact that he didn't want to go bankrupt and lose all of his belongings. Now that it was morning, he need not to worry himself to ruin the day. Vash walked to the adjacent kitchen where he got a drink and made himself some toast with cheese. Something simple really.
As he ate, he realized how big this house was for him and the fact that he was living by himself here. Hiring a cleaning service would require some money. Vash stopped at that point. Taking care of a lot of things did require a lot of money. He would just have to find a way somehow. Some people must be looking for work. Maybe he could recruit some of them to help around here. He wasn't a nobleman unlike most of the people who lived here, but he wanted to make the most out of it.
After eating his morning breakfast, he cleaned the dishes and decided to take a shower. As he was about to walk up the stairs the doorbell outside rang and the door knocked as well. He walked over to the door wondering who could be visiting him at this hour in the early morning. If it was some bothersome person, he'd just kick them out like that. He got out a small dagger ready and hid it behind him as he took a glance from the side window to see who it was. As he peeked, he kept the small dagger once again and finally opened the door.
"Oh, it's you..."

"I thought you'd be the one who bought this house. And keep that dagger away properly. You think I wouldn't be able to sense the presence of a dagger being pulled out to attack?" Seraphine greeted as she entered his house and not even giving him a single glance. She took off the coat she had worn as it seemed to be a bit cold outside that morning and just gave it to Vash to hang somewhere.. It had a little homey feeling to it despite it being brand new. She still smelled the traces of paint in the house and tried her best not to disrupt herself from presenting herself formally here. She looked around the house as she wandered off leaving Vash to where he was.
"Y-You know its a bit rude to let a guest wander off around the house." Seraphine stumble across her first words. Man! Did she hate herself for doing that! Normally, she wouldn't even bother visiting people as she thought it was only a waste of time. But she felt something different about this guy. She had met him a few nights ago in the plaza seeming he was lost. And ever since then, she couldn't get this feeling out of her. She had read mountains of books and never read about what she was feeling. This must be one of those human emotions then. She never did read enough about those human feelings and emotions. All she read were books regarding sorcery, magic and necromancy. But this was entirely different.

Vash just stood there as the young woman's coat was hung on him as she entered his house after stating the previous activities he had done. He finally kept the small dagger in its proper place and hung the coat of Seraphine in the coat cabinet. She didn't even bother to give him a greeting. "Yeah. Hello and nice seeing you too." Vash mumbled silently as he followed the girl who was starting to explore the house. He was about to speak when he got interrupted by the girl. Something threw her off when she stumbled a bit on her words. Vash read her quickly and noticed she was starting to be a bit shy. Vash approached the girl. He didn't know how to socialize with a human. What more if it was a girl?
"Would you like a drink for now?" Vash offered the girl who was still standing in her place after stumbling on her words. After she did that, it seemed as if she was embarrassed. She got out a glass and offered the girl some water. "I don't know if you drink wine or anything. Vash said as he handed the water to the girl. Approaching her, he knew there was something wrong with him towards this girl. but why her? Of all the people, she was the one who seemed to make him uncomfortable. And noticing he was only a few inches away from her, the thought only made him a bit more stiff. He could smell her scent from where he was standing and what a wonderful scent it was.

Seraphine grabbed the glass from him and stepped away from him. She took a sip as she sat down. She came here for a reason. Now what was it...? Ah! She dug into her pocket to reveal a key. It was a small tiny brass key which dangled from a leather string. Hey eyes gleamed as she held the key up while raising an eye brow. She stood up and grabbed one of the knives Vash had.
"Hey Vash. Wanna play a game?" she asked the young man who was with her. She put the glass on the table and started to walk to the adjacent living room. A large rug covered the floor. Thumping her foot on the wooden floors underneath, Seraphine was looking for something she had seen before in this house. "When I moved here, this was the first house they offered to me." Seraphine glanced at Vash as she stamped her foot around the center of the room. She found what she was looking for. "I found that there was this unexplored basement in this house. I took the key in hopes to explore it with the owner." Seraphine stated as she took the small knife and made a cut through the rug revealing a small door.
